The golden hour light reflecting off the water creates a magical atmosphere. In fact, many photographers recommend timing your shoot around sunset for the best results.

2. Historic Folsom District

4. Willow Hill Park


This location has the large Oaks in empty fields, large pond, large wooden bridge, and tons of natural landscape beauty with super easy access. It is an amazing spot to get a variety of excellent photos



5. Willow Creek Trail - Traintracks


The non-operational traintrack section of the Willow Creek pathway in Folsom is an awesome option (and safe) to have an engagement session. This is a super easy location to get to. It has a nice wooden bridge in the middle of a quiet treelined and quiet path. In addition right off path is loaded with natural landscape beauty. Lastly the traintrack also has a small bridge so it can give you an unique eyeline for both bridges (where the angle is not up or off center).



6. BONUS LOCATION - Castle Park


This is a beautiful area for photoshoots. Vast open fields with oaks, including one of the largest oaks in the area. It is a perfect location for people with children as the park is fantastic, but they will also have fun climbing in the trees. It has a fallen tree to pose in and even a small creek and pond. This is a great, easy to get to, and fun for all spot for photography.
