How I Turned a Real Wedding into a Living Studio Ghibli Film

I’ve been a wedding photographer for over two decade, and I’ve shot everything from sleek rooftop ceremonies in San Francisco to barefoot beach vows in Monterey. Despite the locations, what really makes photography fun is the people. I love making imagery that includes people's passions, hobbies and interests. The wedding I shot last week I got to blend real love with the dreamlike world of Studio Ghibli. Kim and Williams were big Ghibli fans and I wanted to give them a set of images that felt like we stepped into a Miyazaki movie.
Specifically: the misty ancient forests of Princess Mononoke, the glowing lantern warmth of Spirited Away, and the soaring, cloud-kissed romance of Howl’s Moving Castle.Challenge accepted.

KIKI's Delivery Service

Making unique and classically "you" photography is what really makes me excited about the art and magic of photography. I do delivery the wedding images that anyone would expect from a wedding, but each wedding I try and give my couple a few images that will be forever unique to their special day. Imagine what I can do with your passions hobbies and interests in your photos?
